I have always been fond of children especially younger ones and sitting down with them and reading to them and playing games with them. When I was in the military and we went to other countries I just loved the way the children swarmed around the Americans with smiles on their faces. I knew that someday I wanted to go back to those countries and teach those children and see the smiles on their faces again but each and every day. Thats why when my time in corporate America was finished I decided to study about being a teacher of English in foreign countries. I searched through many of the advertisments from schools that offered training and after deciding on which way to go I have begun. This blog will cover the journey I have started to return to these countries and teach. I will be based out of Laguna Philippines after completing my school as this is where my wife and I have decided to retire. I hope that the Philippines will become my first teaching country as I love it as much as I love the United States. In this blog I will post about the countries I visit and the children. I plan on including videos as well as photos of my journey. Right now though most of the posting will have to do with my education and preparing to go overseas. I hope you enjoy my blog and comment!
